Escorts and professionals in libertin clubs

An escort is a woman who is a student or has a career. She will accompany a man to a club libertin and participate fully with everbody. Usually bisxual, they enjoy the libertin club scene and take the opportunity to make some extra money to pay the bills at the end of the month.

A professional does not have a career and works full time accompanying men. Generally, they are not good in libertin clubs. They do not freely participate but they do put money behind the bar. Some regular libertin couples have complained that there too many professionals in the two snob clubs. This may help to explain the ‘door policy.’

Prostitution is not illegal in France but the organisation of prostitution is illegal. The definition of an escort is different in english speaking countries than in France. In english speaking countries, an escort is a professional.

Internet sites advertising escorts in France are run from outside France unless it is an individual with their own site. Escorts do not have their own internet sites.

French people have no great problem with any of this. Escorts are are well accepted but professionals resent escorts as competition.

Escorts started in Paris around 20 years ago with students who were finding it difficult to meet their expenses. Today, one glossy magazine estimated that there are as may as 40,000 occasional escorts in Paris.

Going to a couples ony club in an afternoon, from 20 couples half will be escorts. At a busy couples only club on a Saturday night with 70 couples, a minority will be escorts.
